The National Student Clearinghouse Research Center released today six‐year, student success outcomes and college completion rates by state, which covers more than 2.9 million students.
As many of you know firsthand, community colleges educate more than 12 million students each year preparing them for their pathways to success, whether in higher education or their professional careers. They also provide critical pathways to four-year institutions for students seeking to transfer. To help tell this story, we are releasing today a report titled, “The Role of Community Colleges in Postsecondary Success.”
According to the National Student Clearinghouse Research Center’s Signature Report, Completing College: A National View of Student Attainment Rates – Fall 2010 Cohort, recent declines in the overall national six-year completion rates have reversed and are now on an upward trajectory.
Our Signature Report 11, “Time to Degree: A National View of the Time Enrolled and Elapsed for Associate and Bachelor’s Degree Earners,” examines time to degree for students who earned an associate or bachelor’s degree in 2014-15.
Today’s college student earns his or her bachelor’s degree in five to six years, according to a new nationwide report by the National Student Clearinghouse Research Center.
The National Student Clearinghouse Research Center today released the Certificate/Associate Pathways Snapshot Report for all 50 states and the District of Columbia based on degrees awarded in 2009-10 that led to an associate or bachelor’s degree.
According to the National Student Clearinghouse Research Center’s annual Undergraduate Degree Earner’s Report, the number of graduates with prior awards grew by 12.4 percent from the 2011-12 to 2014-15 academic year, while the number of first-time graduates – students earning their first undergraduate degree – fell 2.6 percent.
