Clearinghouse Staff to Discuss How Administrators Can Better Serve Today’s Mobile Student

Our journey together continues as the National Student Clearinghouse staff hosts the three sessions at the 2018 AACRAO Annual Meeting on March 25-28 in Orlando. During our sessions, Clearinghouse staff will help administrators understand how to navigate the challenges of serving today’s mobile student and discuss how our suite of services integrate with the needs of colleges and universities of all sizes.

As the national source for accurate information on the effectiveness of educational pathways in America, the Clearinghouse is creating a better way to communicate and understand student success throughout the education-workforce pipeline.

The Clearinghouse’s sessions will help attendees discover new solutions to address their daily challenges to serve students and advance their institution’s mission.

Building Stronger Postsecondary Pathways: Metrics to Help Drive Improvement in Student Completion and Transfer

The latest results from the National Student Clearinghouse Research Center offer state and national benchmarks that you can use today to place your institution’s results into context. The reports’ authors will discuss their findings on 1) new community college-to-bachelor’s outcomes metrics in the 2017 Tracking Transfer Report and 2) college completion rates for all types of institutions in the 2017 Completing College Report. Learn about these latest reports, what they mean for different types of institutions and student populations, and how to use them to track your school’s progress toward goals.

Through the National Student Clearinghouse Research Center, we know that mobile learners represent 54 percent of all enrollments at U.S. institutions. Administrators and learners alike are challenged by the implications of mobility on existing operational processes and services as well as decision-making. The National Student Clearinghouse’s service suite organically bridges the mobility needs of both the administrator and learner tracks.
